Chris Evans: So Martin Freeman, is he on the verge of superstardom then?
James Nesbitt: Well, you know, I would say he will be, and I’d say he’ll handle it well like he handles everything. He was just fantastic on it, you know? I really…because that’s a, that’s a very anticipated role, the Hobbit. It’s an anticipated film, and he just was brilliant. Very very funny guy, very collaborative, very generous and also does his work. He made me laugh a lot.
Evans: He is unbelievably generous as a human being.
Nesbitt: Aye. He’s a great fella, you know. Really.
Evans: Grounded.
Nesbitt: Very grounded. Well he’s got uh, a great partner who also works, Amanda, and two gorgeous kids, Joe and Grace. I mean he’s actually quite sickening. He’s almost perfect.
Evans: *laughs* He is, isn’t he? He’s 101% a good guy.
Nesbitt: Yeah, I know. There’s got to be a flaw there somewhere.
Evans: No. I don’t think there is.
Nesbitt: I know. I spent 18 months trying to find it and expose it.
